Claudia F. Dean
Claudia (Helms) Dean grew up in Albany and started her legal career in Corvallis as a legal secretary before relocating to Southern California, where she raised her family. After graduating magna cum laude from Concordia University in Irvine, California and cum laude from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, Ms. Dean practiced law in Orange County, California before returning to Oregon in 2019 to be near her parents.
Ms. Dean is licensed to practice law in both California and Oregon and is an active member of the California State Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, Oregon State Bar, and Linn-Benton Bar Association.
Claudia has four sons all residing in Southern California, and she enjoys traveling to SoCal to see her family. She also enjoys raising her puppy, Cali Grace (who has become the “firm dog” at Marek & Lanker), gardening, and wine tasting, and she is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Albany, Oregon and the East Albany Lions Club.
Ms. Dean joined the law firm of Marek & Lanker in Corvallis, Oregon in 2019, and her practice areas include estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
